A Warm, Fun and Interactive Experience
Our eight-week class is designed for parents and caregivers of children birth-11 years of age and uses the research-based program Nurturing Parenting©. Parents come together to share experiences and discuss a variety of topics including child development, understanding and managing children's behavior, self-esteem, communication, child safety, stress management, and parenting styles. Master’s-level staff that has expertise in child development and parenting teaches classes. The Family Center strives to partner with parents and provides a warm, open, fun and interactive learning experience that empowers parents to have strong, healthy relationships with their children.

An Open and Caring Environment
Divorce and separation is a process that is difficult and life changing for the whole family. The Family Center provides a one-time four-hour seminar, which teaches divorcing, separating, and never-married parents ways to minimize the negative impact of divorce or separation on children ages birth to 18 years. In a warm, open and caring environment, the program also promotes self-reflection and an increased understanding of feelings of grief and loss that so often accompany the divorce process. Techniques for navigating the legal implications such as mediation, child support, and visitation arrangements are also addressed. Master’s level mental health professionals lead this nationally recognized program.
Payment of $45 must be made at the time of registration. You may register and pay online with a credit card or at our office with cash or money order at least 48 hours in advance of the class date. No checks accepted. Classes do fill up quickly, so reserve your spot today.
